GIT-R-DONE!! It's been a while since the last update so here it goes... Well I had the dreaded prostate check. It actually wasn't that bad other then my doctor needs to cut his fingernails! OUCH! It also kinda bugged me that before the exam he dimmed the lights and put on a Richard Marx CD! The test went well and he found no polyps, however he did locate a silver superball I lost in '75. My buddy Daryl and his wife are pregnant. Not Daryl, his wife. Ya know the home pregnancy test? They did the Mobile Home Pregnancy test. Not only does it tell the of the baby, but also tells you what NASCAR race is closest to the due date! How cool is that?
Speaking of babies, my boy is now 2 and his brain is like a sponge. To bad his isn't! Speakin' of that, I don't know what I ate last night but I used an automatic toilet and got high score! (That's funny by God!) How about them Olympics? I knew them Chinese gymnasts were to young when they got their gold medals and immediately tried to rip the gold wrapper off to get to the chocolate. I did watch the swimming. In fact I was a swimmer myself. I took a gold once in the pool, well it was actually more yellowish then gold. I also once dated an Olympic mud wrastler and almost had to quit because they thought she had uterine polyps. The good news was it just turned out to just be dirt clots. (I think that's funny I'm not sure.)
And finally, here's another global warming update for that Al Gore. Australia had the coolest Summer they've ever had in 60 years.

Like most normal Americans I'm sick of all these scumbags blaming our country for Global Warming. Also check out the show Penn and Teller's "Bullsh*t" on Showtime. They follow the money trail on this thing which is the real reason for the scare tactics.
Speaking of scare tactics, here's a fun game... Sneak up behind a couple of elderly people and goose them. If they pee a little, you just accomplished a "golden goose"! TADA!
Now on a serious note... The music world has lost a great talent; Mr.
Jerry Reed. I've been a fan of Jerry Reed since I was a kid and I was sad to learn that he'd passed away. Just a quick story... I had the privilege of having Jerry Reed play for my friends and I at my birthday party in Nashville a few years ago. He was the sweetest and kindest person I have ever come across. A lot of times when you're a fan of someone and you have a chance to meet them you only hope they are just what you think them to be. Jerry Reed was that and more. A down to earth country boy that was blessed with the pickin' talent not afforded to many people, and was also blessed with a great sense of humor to go with it. For many years now when I finish my live show I've always left the stage to the song "East Bound and Down" by Jerry Reed. I want to send my condolences to his family and want to thank them for sharing their time with him with the rest of us that loved him as well. Not many people come along like Jerry Reed and I'm just glad I was around to enjoy his talents and for one night in Nashville, his stories. That one night will always be a great memory for me. God Bless Jerry Reed.
Now here's an update on a couple of things... I'll be on "Are You Smarter Then A 5th Grader" coming up in a month or two. I'll keep you posted on the exact date. Yes, you heard correctly, SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER! So tune in and watch me look like a retard in front of the nation. (Then again I do that every time I'm on TV... nevermind!) Ok, so I've talked about it the last few months but the new version of this web site will be up I believe in the next week or so. Right now we're working the bugs out and hopefully it'll be online soon. The fan site GitRDone.com is looking great. I'm getting tons of feedback on some of the features on there including the fake movie trailer "Big Dog Daddy and Possum Boy" with Toby Keith. It's set to air on CMT on November 21st.
